Create and schedule a social media post
Build one campaign, tailor its channel variants, preview media, and keep publishing under review.
See it in Leado
What you’ll achieve
- A channel-specific social campaign with loaded media, verified previews, correct timezone, and explicit publishing status for every destination.
What you’ll need
- At least one connected social profile
- Publish permission for the workspace
Follow the workflow
-
1
Open Social Publisher
Go to Actions → Social Publisher and choose the create mode. Confirm the intended connected profiles.
-
2
Select media
Use the file selector or media library to choose an image or video. Check the crop, aspect ratio, file size, and visible preview for every destination.
-
3
Write the campaign copy
Add the hook, body, call to action, and destination link. Use per-platform copy where the audience or format requires it.
-
4
Review the platform previews
Confirm that media, line breaks, mentions, hashtags, and links render sensibly for each selected channel.
-
5
Choose time and timezone
Set the scheduled date and time, then verify the displayed timezone. Avoid accidental same-day scheduling caused by timezone assumptions.
-
6
Save, approve, and publish
Keep the campaign as a draft until the content owner approves it. Publish or schedule only after each destination is connected and the final preview is correct.
Verify your work
- The selected profiles belong to the intended brand
- Media and final copy render correctly in every platform preview
- After the scheduled time, each platform row shows a successful publish or a specific actionable failure
If something doesn’t look right
A profile is missing
Reconnect or authorize the destination in Settings, then reopen the campaign.
Media is absent from a preview
Reselect the uploaded file and verify its format, size, and platform aspect ratio.
A scheduled post fails
Open the per-platform status, correct the connection or content error, and retry only the failed destination.
Limitations and safeguards
Platform APIs differ in supported formats, link behavior, scheduling windows, and error reporting; a saved Leado campaign is not proof of external publication.
Important notes
A successful save is not the same as a successful platform publish. Check the per-platform status after the scheduled time.
