Invite teammates and control access
Give teammates the right workspace role and feature permissions without sharing credentials.
See it in Leado
What you’ll achieve
- An individual teammate account with the minimum workspace and feature permissions required for its role.
What you’ll need
- Workspace owner or team-management permission
Follow the workflow
-
1
Open Settings
Go to Settings and select the Team section. Only users with sufficient workspace permissions can manage teammates.
-
2
Enter the teammate’s email
Use their work email address so the invitation reaches the account they will use in Leado.
-
3
Choose a role
Select the role that matches the teammate’s responsibilities. Use the least access needed for their work.
-
4
Set feature access
Keep or clear access for individual product areas. Publishing permissions should be limited to people authorized to send or launch campaigns.
-
5
Send and verify the invitation
Send the invite, then confirm its status in Users. You can update the role or feature access later.
Verify your work
- The invitation appears for the intended work email
- The teammate can enter the correct workspace after accepting
- A non-publisher cannot send, schedule, activate, or launch an external action
If something doesn’t look right
The invitation is not received
Verify the address, check spam and corporate filtering, then resend from the Users view.
The teammate sees the wrong features
Review the assigned role and individual feature-access switches.
The teammate cannot publish
Grant publishing only if the role requires it and the destination connection is active.
Limitations and safeguards
Available roles and feature permissions control Leado access; they do not replace permissions held separately in Meta, Google, Shopify, or another connected provider.
Important notes
Never share an owner login. Individual accounts make approvals and changes easier to audit.
