Manage reusable media assets
Keep images, GIFs, WebP files, and PDFs organized for emails, social posts, ads, and website experiences.

What you’ll achieve
- A media library of identifiable, reachable assets and channel-safe variants that render correctly in their destination previews.
Follow the workflow
-
1
Open Data → Media
Review existing assets before uploading another copy.
-
2
Select the source file
The Media uploader currently accepts JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, and PDF files up to the limit shown on screen. Use Social Publisher’s own upload flow when a post needs an MP4 video.
-
3
Check the preview
Confirm the asset loads, orientation is correct, and transparency or document preview works as expected.
-
4
Use platform-safe variants
Upload separate crops or aspect-ratio variants when one asset cannot serve social, email, ads, and website placements cleanly. Give variants distinct titles so the correct one is easy to select.
-
5
Select media from an editor
Open the media picker in the destination editor and verify the chosen asset in the final channel preview. Check the actual crop and playback rather than relying on the library thumbnail.
-
6
Retire assets carefully
Before removing or replacing an asset, identify the drafts and live experiences that reference it. Preserve a reachable file when an existing published action still needs the URL.
Verify your work
- The library preview loads for the supported file type
- The selected variant renders with the intended crop and quality in the destination editor
- Published or scheduled actions do not reference an asset being retired
If something doesn’t look right
An upload fails
Verify the accepted file type, size, filename, and network connection.
A preview is blank
Reopen the asset URL, confirm it is reachable, and replace an expired or unsupported file.
The crop is wrong in one channel
Upload a dedicated aspect-ratio variant and reselect it in that destination.
Limitations and safeguards
The media library stores and reuses assets but cannot guarantee that every external platform will preserve the same crop, compression, autoplay, or playback behavior.
